JOB SUMMARY Company: Maxam Industry: Mining Category: Engineering Location: West Africa Job Status: Full-time Salary: GH¢  Education: University degree Experience: 5 years Job Expires: 19 Apr, 2013 Job Description Main Responsibilities: Manage all activities related to Operations Planning, including the planning and control of flow of materials through the manufacturing process and delivery Together with the Operations Manager, design and deploy planning processes at Subsidiary level to align with corporate policies Develop plans to support the Sales Forecast Ensure that the desired level of customer service is maintained Interface between manufacturing planning & control, and the customers to keep a balance between demand and supply Required Skills or Experience Skill and Competency Requirements: Strategic and business vision Project management and activity follow up Internal and external client orientation A University degree in Engineering or Business Administration A minimum experience of five years' in a logistics department preferably in a similar role Knowledge of Global supply chain management principles, logistics regulation related to hazardous materials, Lean Manufacturing principles Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel Fluency in English, other languages are valued How To Apply Interested applicants should be forward to: enyarko@maxam.net.
