KRGL is an Exploration Company that is actively involved in gold exploration in Ghana and at the moment going through the development stages of its well advanced gold exploration project at Esaase involving environmental, community and engineering programs. The Esaase project is an advanced exploration propertyin the Amansie West District  near Kumasi, Ashanti Region,  with ongoing exploration and development programs. More information on Keegan and the Esaase project can be found on www.keeganresources.com Job Description The objective of this new role is to develop and implement safety programmes in accordance with company policies and Ghanaian legislation. The job will be full time and based at the Esaase Gold Project site. Reporting to the Site Manager, the incumbent's responsibilities will include:  Leading the development and documentation of risk management and standard operating procedures within a framework of continuous improvement Leading and/or participating in incident reporting, investigation, finding root causes and taking remedial actions Conducting safety inductions for all visitors and new employees Coordinating safety training for employees Carrying out routine inspections of workplaces Tracking and reporting progress on safety initiatives Required Skills or Experience A degree or equivalent in engineering or science.
