Job Description The position holder would be responsible for: - Developing and implementing company's strategic business plan, marketing & sales strategies
- Managing the existing real estate and construction business and identifying new real estate and construction ventures
- Managing, supervising, and coordinating projects of contractors
- Calculating and comparing costs of real estate and construction products to achieve maximum value for money
- Planning for future real estate development in line with the company's strategic business objectives
- Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption of business activities
- Planning best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new and old estate buildings
- Coordinating and leading more project teams to cover various areas of real estate and construction activities
Required Skills or Experience The successful candidates must: - Have a minimum of 1st degree in building technology or related field, an MBA or professional qualification in marketing would be an added advantage
- Have 7 years relevant work experience in the building and construction industry of which 3 years must be in a managerial position
- Have working experience in a reputable multinational or local construction and real estate company
- Have strong project management and development skills
- Posses the ability to influence and negotiate for contracts as well as market the company's real estate products
- Have strong people management skills
- Be hardworking and firm with a strong sense of discipline
- Have impeccable presentation, spoken and written communication skills
- Be proficient in the Microsoft office suite
