Each campus houses a College with a collection of a number of related schools. The aim of ANG.U.TECH is to train high level science and technology human resources in a holistic manner and conduct innovative research to provide for the technological skills and extension services for the country. Director of Schools: Director - School of Agricultural and Bio-resources Engineering Director - School of Food and Health Sciences Director - School of Social Sciences (Director is equivalent to a Dean and School equivalent to Faculty) Duties/Responsibilities: As Director of a School in the College, the successful applicant shall be responsible for providing leadership in the School. The specific duties/responsibilities of the Director of a School shall include: Chairmanship of the Board of the School Responsibility for the training of students in the School in consultations with the Pro gramme co-ordinators in the School Chief Co-ordinator of the Programmes run in the School Liaising with professional institutions, associations and similar bodies, and organizing consultative committees, comprising Senior Members and experts in the various professional fields within the School Liaising with other Schools in the College in the organisation of common courses Active support of the Vice President of the College in raising funds for the College Terms of Appointment: The appointment which is full-time shall be five (5) years on the terms and conditions specified in the instrument of appointment, which appointment may be renewed for a further term of up to five (5) years.
