We are a subsidiary of Gold Fields Limited is looking to fill out the position for Superintendent Metallurgical Production – Ghana Exploration. We are located in a tropical climate; the Damang Gold Mine is a world-class operation, consisting of 25 Mtpa open pit-mining operations and a 5.2 Mtpa CIL metallurgical plant. The mine is situated in the Western Region of Ghana and is ISO 14001 and OHSAS18001 certificated. It has a current Life of Mine expectancy to the year 2019 and beyond. Key Responsibilities: Provides all the user departments with appropriate SAP support and assistance in order to optimize usage of the business application in the Planned Maintenance and Material Management modules Updates and assist in managing the relevant SAP master data and transactional data procedures pertaining to the SAP modules as directed by the Head of Department Makes input to the Corporate Business Application Support team on matters relevant to the SAP application in the relevant SAP modules Assists in ensuring continuous business improvement as per customer requirements for the engineering and supply chain business areas Assists in ensuring that Gold Fields business process policies are adhered to in terms of the SAP application, and report breaches to superior Assists in designing business processes necessary to improve performance in the related business area Trains, coaches and develops clients effectively according to training needs and gaps identified Provides advice according to the needs of SAP Business Process Owners and End-Users Liaises closely with superiors to integrate decisions and actions at the various operations Required Skills or Experience Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering Around 1 year relevant SAP experience Around 2 year years business process experience in a related area Good communication skills and the ability to interact with people of different level and background Experience in working with a computer application used to manage the relevant functional area Sound analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Be capable of prioritizing and managing time and work load effectively Ability to work independently and pay attention to detail Medical fitness for the position and environment Valid Ghanaian driver's license and proficiency in driving light vehicles How To Apply Interested applicant should submit Curriculum Vitae to: Gladys Opoku Yeboah  Tarkwa Gold Mine P.
