JOB SUMMARY Company: Samdoe Limited Industry: Construction Category: Engineering Location: Kenyasi Job Status: Temp Salary: GH¢  Education: Certificate Experience: 3 years Job Expires: 31 Oct, 2012 Job Description Responsibilities: The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers engaged in the assembly, erection and repair of boilers, tanks, vats and pressure vessels Determine work requirements and allocate resources and equipment to artisans accordingly Plan work flow in consultation with Site Manager in order to have the most positive effect on the project i.e. plan cable racking routes on the drawings, and in conjunction with a walk around site in order to *eliminate any clashes with piping Promote safety at work Explain safety guidelines clearly to his personnel and enforce safety regulations Oversee the quality of workmanship and conduct regular inspections around the section and the operational plan daily, weekly and monthly work requirement Record any deviations and advise Management Please note these are TEMPORARY position for the duration of a construction project.  Required Skills or Experience Relevant qualification, certificates and experience as industrial electrician and HT cable termination on mining and construction projects. Boilermaker Trade test certificate or equivalent Boilermaker Trade test certificate and/or 3-5 years industry specific experience 4-5 years supervisory industry specific experience essential  Work Experience: Welding and measuring Erecting Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Sound knowledge and understanding of Boilermaker legal requirements  Technical skills: Valid driving licence Certificate of fitness Excellent in English Language (Both Written and Oral) Aptitude and Behavioural Competencies: Trustworthy Honest Hard worker Strong team player and must be able to lead a team Good communication skills Punctual, reliable and have sober habits Strong physical and mental ability essential How To Apply Interested persons with the above requirements should send CV and certified certificates including references to: samdoelimited@yahoo.com Search for Other Jobs Here
