In preparation of the further roll out of our project in Ghana we are looking for strong and motivated staff to join our teams, both in The Netherlands and Ghana. In 2010 we started our pilot project in Accra (Ghana) to test the Safi Sana business concept for waste re-use. We have just finished the construction of our first 20-seater public toilet block in Teshie. The second block, a 14-seater, is under construction and is located in Ashaiman. At the same time we are testing the collection and treatment of faecal sludge and other organic wastes in order to produce biogas and organic fertilizer. Responsibilities Design of framework and methodology for the technical development process of future fertilizer products based on targeted crops, soil needs and farmer demand; Technical supervision and support of the product development process done by the development team; Report to the Manager during product development processes and upon product finalization; Required Skills or Experience Agricultural education with a specific reference to (bio) fertilizers, plant nutrient sciences and soil management; a minimum of Msc/Mphil is required The candidate is required to have proven work experience with a minimum of 5 years.
