Safi Sana has technical vacancies and opportunities in Ghana to recruit for Technical Coordinator. In preparation of the further roll out of our project in Ghana we are looking for strong and motivated staff to join our teams, both in The Netherlands and Ghana. In 2010 we started our pilot project in Accra (Ghana) to test the Safi Sana business concept for waste re-use. We have just finished the construction of our first 20-seater public toilet block in Teshie. The second block, a 14-seater, is under construction and is located in Ashaiman. At the same time we are testing the collection and treatment of faecal sludge and other organic wastes in order to produce biogas and organic fertilizer. JOB SUMMARY Company: Safi Sana Ghana Ltd Industry: Recycling Category: Engineering Location: Accra Job Status: Full-time Salary: GH¢  Education: First Degree Experience: 4 years Job Expires: 15 Nov, 2012 Job Description As the Technical Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role within the organisation regarding  management of technical processes for waste treatment, fertilizer production and energy production towards commercialisation in 2013. You will direct, organize and control the various activities under the direction of the Management Team (MT). Also, you will do the following: Responsibilities Communicate and monitor the pre-set objectives, planning and responsibilities to the appointed team members; Coordinate the technical processes with all the appointed team members and external experts, leading to a waste treatment process, the fertilizer product and an electricity product ready for commercialisation; Develop and guard the project implementation schedule which includes administrative tasks and all field/site operations; Coordinate the legal and institutional obligations (e.g. EPA, MOFA certification); Report to Project Manager Required Skills or Experience Education in Engineering and Project Management; a minimum of Msc/Mphil is required Required to have a proven work experience with a minimum of 4 years in the relevant sectors. Experience in project management and HR relevant experience is required.
