Job Description The successful candidate will report to the Mine Manager and will establish the Mine Maintenance Department , assumes overall responsibility for budgeting, managing the heavy and light vehicle equipment fleet. Essential Duties: Coordinate all maintenance activities with other departments. Create a suitable work environment to motivate staff, employees and contractors to achieve optimum effectiveness, productivity and operating costs Assist in the design, construction and management of the truck shop, fueling, wash bay, welding, tire shop and other maintenance facilities Responsible for performing capital evaluation of projects and producing management reports The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive Required Skills or Experience A degree in Mechanical or Mining Engineering with 10 years' experience or equivalent management position or 15 years' combination of relevant education and experience as a maintenance superintendent Experience with facility design, equipment, development and management of MARC agreements Knowledge of computer management tools such as Mine Star, Modular Dispatch, VIMS and Ellipse is recommended Strong presentation, facilitation, consultation, interpersonal and negotiation and conflict resolution skills How To Apply If you would like to be considered for any of the above position, please send your application letter and current CV with references, indicating your e-mail address, telephone contact information to the address below: The Human Resource Manager Newmont Golden Ridge Limited P.
