At MineDev, we believe the right job can transform a person's life and the right person can transform a business.   JOB SUMMARY Company: MineDev Industry: Construction Category: Architectural Location: West Africa Job Status: Full-time Salary: GH¢  Education: BSc Experience: 6 years Job Description This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Construction Engineering Surveyor, looking to work with one of the largest construction firms operating in the West African Sub - Region.   Responsibilities: The Successful candidate will be responsible for: Operating survey equipment and software at advance level Maintaining and managing accurate survey control plan and resources Reading drawings and extracting coordinates for setout of earthworks and civil works design Ensuring equipment is within calibrated specifications Establishing  and maintaining survey control points on site throughout the project Performing daily tasks associated with concrete, bolts positioning and verticality checks on structures Advising and producing construction plans and drawings Supervising the survey team to achieve results Liaising with clients and contractors NB: This is a six (6) to twelve (12) month contract with possibility of extension.  Required Skills or Experience As the successful candidate, it is essential you possess the following skills and experience: BSc / HND qualification in Geomatic Engineering (Surveying) or a related field Minimum of six (6) years experience in the Mining and Construction industry Must have the ability to use Sokkia, Topcon, Leica GPS or Trimble Total Stations and Digital Levels The ability to use AutoCAD and survey software and excel is required Must be able to plan, prioritize and have attention to details Must have good interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills Must be a team player How To Apply Interested applicants should forward a resume in Microsoft Word document format to jobs@minedevrecruit.com or visit us: www.minedevrecruit.com
