Job Description

The position holder would be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing company's strategic business plan, marketing & sales strategies
  • Managing the existing real estate and construction business and identifying new real estate and construction ventures
  • Managing, supervising, and coordinating projects of contractors
  • Calculating and comparing costs of real estate and construction products to achieve maximum value for money
  • Planning for future real estate development in line with the company's strategic business objectives
  • Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption of business activities
  • Planning best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new and old estate buildings
  • Coordinating and leading more project teams to cover various areas of real estate and construction activities

Required Skills or Experience

The successful candidates must:

  • Have a minimum of 1st degree in building technology or related field, an MBA or professional qualification in marketing would be an added advantage
  • Have 7 years relevant work experience in the building and construction industry of which 3 years must be in a managerial position
  • Have working experience in a reputable multinational or local construction and real estate company
  • Have strong project management and development skills
  • Posses the ability to influence and negotiate for contracts as well as market the company's real estate products
  • Have strong people management skills
  • Be hardworking and firm with a strong sense of discipline
  • Have impeccable presentation, spoken and written communication skills
  • Be proficient in the Microsoft office suite
