JOB SUMMARY Company: AngloGold Ashanti Industry: Mining Category: Engineering Location: Obuasi Job Status: Full-time Salary: GH¢  Education: BSc Experience: 1 years Job Expires: 09 Jul, 2012 Job Description Major Responsibilities: To assist Senior Geo-tech Engineer in collecting geotechnical related data for carrying out investigations into producing and planned mining blocks, capital projects etc. Details of Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in carrying out geotechnical investigations of various activities Collect relevant geotechnical data including Rock Mass Quality data for various Mining Blocks Carry out ground support design e.g. Cable bolt support Assist in carry out ground support quality control and audit Collect information on backfill for various stopes.
