The University of Health and Allied Sciences Hires Associate Professor/Professor

The University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) has various research/academic opportunities in Ghana to hire Associate Professor/Professor, School of Basic & Biomedical Sciences. UHAS was established by an Act of Parliament (Act 828 of December 2011) as a public university in Ghana. The main campus, including the central administration, is in Ho. A second campus is to be located in Hohoe. The University will run Bachelor of Science degree courses in health and allied sciences relevant to the health needs of the people of Ghana from September, 2012.

Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the above position in the Departments of the following Schools:

School of Basic and Biomedical Sciences:

  • Department of Liberal and General Sciences
  • Department of Basic Sciences
  • Department of Biomedical Sciences

Required Skills or Experience

  • Applicants must be holders of PhD, or Mphil, or Research Master's degree in various areas of Basic Sciences, Liberal Sciences and Biomedical Sciences, or experienced Physicians with graduate training in the various areas
  • Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and research
